Dear White People

So I just went to the film Dear White People IMDB page. The film has not even been released yet, but IMDB users have voted and given it a rating of 4.1. How can you rate a movie you haven’t even see yet? I’ll tell you how.

If you look at the demographic break down of the ratings you’ll see one major trend. About 500 males (who have not seen the movie unless they all attended the sundance film festival) gave it an average rating of 3.4, while the average rating given by the 150 females was 7.3. So, I don’t know about you, but this just shows how much a movie like this is needed when these ignorant ass white guys HAVEN’T EVEN SEEN THE FREAKIN MOVIE and decided to all go down vote it. I wouldn’t be surprised if it showed up on some sub reddit and they all came in mass hordes together. Like the title is literally Dear White People and you fools still won’t even listen. This letter(movie) is directly addressed to YOU.

“We made the short and the feature in response to a bunch of romantic comedies that were about unplanned pregnancy and ended in childbirth,” she explains. “I liked Knocked Up a lot, and I liked Juno and Waitress. But they are the reason why we made this movie as a reaction. I enjoyed watching them, but it didn’t ring true to me.”
The choice to terminate a pregnancy is rarely shown anywhere in our culture, she continues: “Especially in movies, they never let the woman make the other choice — or even say the word ‘abortion.’” (x)

People who speak out against abortions purposefully use language that inappropriately describes the situation.

They say, “you’re killing a baby”. First of all, the women herself is not killing anyone, second of all the embryo/fetus (depending upon how far along the pregnancy is) is not a baby. A baby according to the dictionary is “a very young child, especially one newly or recently born.” SO, to call it a baby it has to have already been born.

Another argument is “everybody has a right to life.” Claiming the fetus has a right to life ignores the fact that the fetus does not have the right to use somebody else’s body against their will. If the doctors extract the fetus and decide to support it on their own dime that’s all good, but people have the right to refuse donating their organs.

A Clitoris is actually an undeveloped penis; since we all, at some point, are both male and female in the uterus, before the dominate gene takes over, the penis on a female and a male is actually the same. And once the dominate gene takes over for a male, the clit actually develops into a penis, so technically, when a girl says: suck my dick… I guess it’s kinda politically correct…

That’s also why guys have nipples.

wow i actually didn’t know that

Lol when I took gender studies in high school our teacher told us this and every guy in the room looked terrified

Basic mammalian biology.

I thought this was common knowledge? O.o well, passing it on to educate others :)

Actually female is the default genetic setting so penises are just giant grotesque clitorises.

^This.

When we start, only the X chromosome has been activated, so we have a clitoris, nipples, and gonads (inside the body, which would become ovaries). It’s not until later in the pregnancy that any present Y chromosome is activated, causing the clitoris to grow into a penis, and the ovaries to drop down and become testes. The female stays the same, following the X path of development.

Female is nature’s “blueprint.”

Fun and weird fact: If you’ve ever examined the stretchy, “bumpy” skin of the labia, and did the same with the stretchy, bumpy skin of the scrotum and thought, ‘huh, they feel the same,’ that’s because they are. In the fetus, they are called the “labioscrotal folds.” Ever notice that “seam” down the center of your scrotum, boys? That’s from when your folds were fused together once the Y chromosome became activated.
